Flash Project

Here is the last project. It is a flash file. I tried to make a game, which is hiding a smily face in a picture, and then you have to find it to go to the next picture, or you can skip the one you find it hard.

Typography Project

This project is the one I most enjoyed working on.  The challenge was to use text and letters, and words to make a design, in either black, white, or grey.  The software used is Adobe Photoshop CS5.

This design shows a smile using text. I tried to show the life of the smile and that there is no life without happiness.

Here is a pixelating smile using text, too. I want to say to everybody, "Smile, so you become happy and everybody becomes happy." When I smile for someone, I become happy and he becomes happy.

Here, I had to put only one word in white with a black background. And because my theme is about happiness and fun, I wanted to show the fun in the word funny.

Video Project

This project is about filming three short videos. One is White, anther one is Grey, and the other one is Black. They all have to be about the same topic, which is happiness and fun. Enjoy watcing:

This video is trying to show how a person could become happy by a very simple thing. I tried to show  what a flower can do to someone very sad. This video was taken outdoors, and using a white sheet for the background.

Here I want to be happy in every day of my life. I believe that I have the power to chose to be happy or to be sad. This video was taken outdoors, and using the grey HSBC wall as a background.

Everywhere you go you find funny things, so have fun and enjoy your life. This video was taken outdoors, and using a black sheet for the background.

Composition Project

These are some compositions that are divided into sectors. Some sectors are light and the others are dark. Or, the composition shows a grey scale.

This one is divided into eight sectors. It starts with the darkest photo to the most light. It shows some smily toys.

In this composition, I tried to show the steps of becoming happy and laughing. I also want to say that if you are sad, everything around you will be dark. But when you become happy, everything becomes light.

Here are some happy toys. I borrow these toys from my friend Obaida who loves to gather theses little toys.

This composition shows different styles of smiling. They both are my friends. I used a spot light facing the camera in the first photo, so it shows a black background. The second photo I used a blue background, so it shows a grey one after converting the photo to black and white. The last photo I did not use any background, just the white wall.

Photography Project

These are some photographs, which are taken of my nephew, friends, kids in AUD, and some other kids on Jumeira beach.

Here is my nephew, and a DVD box of Mr. Bean movies. I thought it will be interesting to ask my nephew to copy Mr. Bean face and tak a photo of them.

This photo was taken on the Jumiera beach. These kids were playing together, so I took some photos of them and this one was the best because it showed the all the three kids and everyone was doing something defferent from the other.

These two kids were playing with thier toys while I was walking around AUD looking for something interesting to photograph.

Here is Obaida, one of my friends. This photo was taken indoors. I used a blue background and a spot light from the side.

This is Abdulla, one of my friends, too. The photo was also indoors and using the same spot light.
